Since 1971, the Grey family has been the proud steward of 40 acres of enchanting forest just south of Stanwood, Washington. For decades, the Grey family forest has provided timber for the fine cabinetry work that is the cornerstone of Grey & Grey Construction. Treasuring the land and its precious resources, the Greys are committed to sustainability practices that ensure the legacy of the forest for years to come.
It is with this same pride and level of care that the Grey & Grey Construction team practices expert craftsmanship at each step of the construction process - from solutions-oriented design work, to wood selection and millwork, to intricate finish carpentry.
From harvesting trees in our family forest, to fine woodcrafting and cabinet installation, Grey & Grey Construction is committed to exceeding customer expectations.
Millwork
The temperate marine climate of the Pacific Northwest creates the perfect environment for many species of trees including alder, fir, maple, and many others! We harvest wood from our private family farm, hand-selecting the best pieces for your project.
Timber is milled at our own private sawmill, air-dried for a minimum of one year and finally, kiln-dried to the proper moisture content before it reaches the shop. Here the wood is custom processed for cabinets and other mill-working needs.
With nearly 50 years of experience working with the woods of the Pacific Northwest, we provide an unmatched level of expertise when it comes to selecting the perfect wood for your project.
